Green Square accommodates 40,000m2 A-Grade commercial office space, with hi-tech utility facilities, retail and restaurants and provision for future childcare facilities. It comprises two office towers and a connecting pocket park and plaza.

The use of new technologies, resulting in innovative sustainability elements running through every aspect of the project included smart meters, zoned and energy efficient T5 lighting, double glazed façade system, controlled air conditioning and thermal modeling, 100 % plantation/reused timber and 90% recycled steel, 100% onsite construction waste recycled, and state-of-the-art cyclist facilities.

Wide ranging design innovations included sophisticated façade and solar shading, rainwater harvesting and water efficient fixtures and fittings, waste and environmental plans and procedures, and external view corridors completed the picture of a healthy, inviting workplace.

The highly innovative $120 million South Tower was completed in August 2007, and building on those learnings ensured the $100 million North Tower, completed in March 2009 is a world leader. Both towers were delivered within budget and ahead of schedule.
